As a native Californian, Dr. Marsha Reuther is especially dedicated to serving the local community. The ability to breathe, talk and swallow is an essential part of an excellent quality of life, and any dysfunction can lead to social isolation and despair. Dr. Reuther is committed to helping people with these difficulties, thereby improving overall well-being.
Dr. Reutherโs expertise extends to many areas of laryngology, including treating the aging voice and performing in-office, unsedated laryngeal procedures to avoid the risks of general anesthesia. Office procedures she performs include vocal fold injections, biopsies, transnasal esophagoscopy and tracheoesophageal puncture.
She cares for patients in all aspects of otolaryngology and head and neck surgery, including nasal and sinus disease, head and neck cancer, salivary gland disorders, thyroid and parathyroid disease, allergy, snoring and sleep apnea. In addition to providing excellent care, Dr. Reuther emphasizes the value of a strong doctor-patient relationship and feels that patient education and understanding is of utmost importance. She is fluent in both Spanish and Russian.
Dr. Reuther is a huge animal lover, and when not going to the dog beach with her four-legged buddies, husband and sons, she can be found playing tennis or pickleball, skiing, scuba diving or fishing.
